Throughout Immanuel’s life we have begun every new initiative, project and ministry by seeking God in prayer.
Preceding the ARISE initiative we gathered for 40 days of prayer as a church. Our prayer points are from the Scriptures and imagery that emerged in our times of prayer together. We encourage you to continue praying for Immanuel during the ARISE Initiative and ARISE Giving Season.
Pray that the people of Immanuel would be firmly established like the roots of a tree (Psalm 1), rooted and grounded in love, that Christ may dwell deeply in our hearts as we become like Him (Ephesians 3).
Pray that the presence of Christ would be a continual flow of living water to the people of Immanuel (John 4, John 7:37-38) and that the presence of God would overflow to fill our city as God makes roads in the wilderness and streams in the dry lands (Isaiah 43:18-21).
Pray for increased faith, hope and joy as we grow in generosity. Pray that God will help us step out in faith and walk upon the water with Him (Matthew 14:22-29).
